Rent Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet 2023 in Dubai

Most convertibles feel like a compromise on the coupe they are based on. The 911 Cabriolet is unusually close to the hard-top: the fabric roof has magnesium panels inside it, so with the roof up the cabin is quiet and the shape barely changes.

This is the GTS, with 480 hp, a sports exhaust and a slightly lower, firmer chassis than the plain Carrera. With the engine over the rear wheels it finds traction out of slow corners that a front-engined convertible cannot, and the Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus turns its beams into bends at night.

Choose it over the BMW M850i for the more precise drive, and over the Ferrari Portofino if you would rather the car drew less attention.

Frequently Asked Questions: Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet 2023 Rental Dubai

How quick is the 911 GTS Cabriolet?

480 hp from a 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six, 3.6 seconds to 100 km/h, through an 8-speed PDK and the rear wheels. It is the fastest open-top Porsche in our fleet and the one that still has usable rear seats.

How fast does the 911 Cabriolet roof open?

Twelve seconds, which is quick enough to use at every red light. Heated and ventilated leather seats cover both the January evenings and the June afternoons, and Burmester surround sound is tuned for open-top driving.

Can two children sit in the back of the 911 Cabriolet?

Yes, that is what the two rear seats are for: children or short trips for small adults. With the seats folded they become a luggage shelf, on top of the two bags that fit in the front boot.

Does the 911 GTS have an active exhaust?

Yes, with a quiet and a loud setting controlled through the Sport Chrono dial. Adaptive sports suspension and Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus headlights are fitted, and your phone mirrors wirelessly to the screen.
