The Palm has three parts, and where you are staying changes how the handover works. The trunk is the central spine of apartment buildings and hotels, with Nakheel Mall and The View halfway along. The fronds branch off it, lined with private villas behind gated entrances. The crescent is the outer ring of resorts, reached through the tunnel under the lagoon, with Atlantis at its centre.
For a villa, send the frond letter and house number; security at the frond gate will ask who the driver is visiting, so a name helps. For a trunk apartment, meet the driver in front of your building. Crescent resorts have their own valet, so the driver brings the car to the porte-cochere and the hotel parks it.
There is one road on and off the Palm, joining Sheikh Zayed Road near Dubai Internet City, and it gets busy in the morning and early evening. Allow extra time if you have a flight to catch.

From Atlantis to the hotels at either end of the crescent, the valet takes the car from our driver at the front door.

The Palm joins Sheikh Zayed Road at a single junction, so leave time at peak hours.

Any address on the Palm, trunk, frond or crescent, gets free delivery; expect the driver 45 minutes to an hour after booking. The driver records the walkaround video with you at the villa, lobby or hotel entrance, and collection is arranged the same way at the end.

Yes, if they know who is expected. Give us the house number and the name the booking is under, or tell the gate in advance.
Can you deliver to Atlantis The Royal?+
Yes, to Atlantis The Royal, Atlantis The Palm and every other resort on the crescent. The driver meets you at the main entrance.
Do I pay a toll to drive through the Palm tunnel?+
No. The tunnel to the crescent has no Salik gate. Salik charges start once you are on Sheikh Zayed Road.
Which car suits a villa on the fronds?+
Villas have their own driveways, so size is not a problem. A seven-seat Yukon or Patrol works well for families; a Rolls-Royce Dawn or a Huracan Spyder suits the crescent drive in the evening.
Is there traffic getting off the Palm?+
From the crescent to Sheikh Zayed Road can take 20 minutes or more at peak times, against a few minutes late at night. Plan around it for airport runs.
