For a wedding arrival or a day of photos, this Polar White G63 is the one to book. White shows the shape of a G-Class better than dark paint does, the boxy outline fills a frame, and it stands out against the glass towers of Business Bay.

Inside there are twin 12.3-inch screens across the dashboard, ambient lighting and Nappa leather, and the exhaust has selectable modes, so it can leave a quiet street early in the morning without a roar.

Against the other cars people book for weddings: the Rolls-Royce Cullinan is softer and quieter if guests will ride in the back, and it costs far more. The Range Rover Vogue is the calmer, more discreet choice. The G63 has the most presence of the three for the price.

Frequently Asked Questions: Mercedes-AMG G63 (Polar White) Rental Dubai

Why does the white G63 cost more than the black one?

Specification and colour. This car has a sports exhaust with adjustable modes, which the black car does not list, and the white paint suits weddings and photo shoots. The engine is the same 577 hp 4.0-litre V8 biturbo.

Can I make the G63 quieter for an early start?

Yes. The exhaust has selectable modes, so you can leave a quiet residential street in Jumeirah without waking it, then open it up on the highway.

Is white a practical colour in Dubai?

It is the most forgiving colour here: it hides dust better than black and stays cooler to the touch in summer. The cabin is Nappa leather with heated and ventilated seats, dual 12.3-inch displays and Burmester sound.

Does this G63 have driver-assistance features?

Adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping that nudges the steering and a 360-degree camera system are all fitted, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for navigation.

Is there a deposit on the white G63?

No. We take no deposit and place no hold on your card for any car, this one included. The daily rate is AED 1,800 with insurance and VAT in the price; if you are at fault in an accident, the excess for the car is confirmed to you in writing before you book.
